I work to get your photos back to you as quickly as possible. For mini and family sessions, this is typically 8-10 days. Weddings and events require additional time, with full wedding galleries being delivered within 30 days. I'm just as excited to work on them as you are to see them!

Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery that allows for easy viewing, sharing, and downloading of individual images or the gallery as a whole. Prints can be ordered directly through your gallery as well.

I am always as flexible as possible with rescheduling. If there is inclement weather, someone is sick, etc. don't be worried! We will simply reschedule. Life happens, and we will just work together to find another day that works for both of us! Rescheduling is simple and there are no fees.

All sessions have a non-refundable retainer upon booking. This initial payment is applied toward your balance. This retainer is due within 10 days of booking to reserve and schedule your session/wedding date.

Following the retainer, the remainder of the session payment can be made anytime using your online invoice, and is due no later than the session date. Wedding payments are due 14 days prior to the event.

Cancellation prior to 10 days before the session results in a refund of payments made after the retainer. Any cancellations made within 10 days leading to the session are non-refundable.

Session style: If I had to pick one way to describe my style, it would be "must look good printed and put on the living room wall." That is my mindset during sessions and how I find compositions. I love to capture people and moments the way that best tells their story. I provide gentle guidance for posing and creating natural images. Additionally, discussing your vision and what you want for your session before and during your session really helps me capture exactly what you're looking for! I keep sessions relaxed and we chat a lot as we go to ensure everyone is comfortable and it's not just an hour of a camera in your face.

Editing Style: I approach each session and wedding with a specific vision for my work, I take the time to carefully and gently edit each image, adjusting things like brightness, contrast, shadows, highlights, and color tones. I do not do edits to bodies or blemishes unless specifically asked (I can remove small blemishes such as acne or a booger, but do not do major adjustments).

Yes! Your photos are meant to be printed, posted, and shared! When posting online, credit given to my business is always appreciated!

I retain ownership of my images for business use such as marketing, social media, website galleries, etc.

Portrait Sessions within 30 miles of Fredericksburg, VA will incur no travel fee. Sessions occurring beyond 30 miles from Fredericksburg, VA will incur a fee calculated at booking.

For weddings, any travel within 75 miles of Fredericksburg, VA is included. Travel fees for weddings outside of this radius are calculated at the time of booking.

When compiling your gallery, I carefully select only the best images based on a variety of factors, such as faces, composition, lighting, blur, etc. to ensure you receive only the best images. Any unflattering images or those that do not meet my professional standard are deleted. I then edit best images to improve lighting, contrast, color, etc. and then delivered in high resolution JPEG format. RAW/.NEF files & unedited images are not provided under any circumstance
